Just a Basic Random Survey from My Email


    I do not really enjoy getting these things via email. This one was sent to me a VERY long time ago (November 2001). It was one of those type in your answers and send it to seventy people "or else" things. I had saved it to make it easier to type my responses, and it just never got deleted.

    I have edited a few of the answers, to make it more current-- those edits appear in italics.


    1. If you could build a house anywhere, where would it be? tough question - in the mountains of Montana, Alaska, or somewhere else sparsely populated.

    2. What's the most memorable thing you have read? ---

    3. What's your favorite article of clothing? - a blue T shirt I've had for 3 years. I still have this shirt. It is faded but has no holes. I only wear it around the house.

    4. Favorite physical feature of the opposite sex? If I can only pick one? everyone says eyes most guys will say boobs - if I am not going to say eyes I'd say lips/mouth.

    5.What's the last cd that you bought? For myself - soundtrack for the movie, What Women Want. For a gift for someone - Harry Connick Jr. - 30.

    6. Where's your favorite place to be? camping in the mountains. it clears my head.

    7. Where's your least favorite place to be? standing in line at the post office, grocery store, or bank.

    8. What's your favorite place to be massaged? Hahaha... at my shoulders and between my shoulderblades - and my lower back.

    9. What's more important, strong in mind or strong in body? strong mind - it will get you further in life. But it is important to be HEALTHY / strong to get to live that life, so they run hand in hand.

    10. What time do you wake in the morning? Days I work - 5 a.m.. On days I don't - it depends on if I have to get up to make pancakes. - usually around 10 if not.

    11. Favorite tv show? um... Who's Line is it, Anyway, and Everybody Loves Raymond really needs more credit - it's funny as hell. Sadly, now that it is syndicated, Everybody Loves Raymond is on fifteen times a day on 3 different channels. These days I like Two and a Half Men, Deadliest Catch, Pawn Stars, Mythbusters, American Pickers, and Justified).

    12. Favorite kitchen appliance? used to be the coffee maker - but I have pretty much given up coffee, so I'll say the stove top range.Hahha. I GAVE UP COFFEE? Yah, that didn't last.

    13. What's your favorite memory? well, everyone with kids says this but it's when my daughter was born.

    14. What makes you laugh? many, many things.

    15. What makes you really angry? cruel people. predjudice. hate crimes. (that is all pretty much the same thing).

    16. If you could play any instrument, what would it be? I play the piano and have learned guitar - I guess I'd have to think about it.

    17. Favorite restaurant/cafe/eatery? a locally-owned, non-chain one that serves breakfast 24 hours a day and has free coffee refills.

    18. Scariest moment of your life? oh- haha my wedding day. I was terrified. (someone was trying to tell me something) hahaha.

    19. If there was a movie made about you, what Hollywood star would you want to play your role?Johnny Depp - He's quiet. he's good at laying low and most people like him (as far as I know). And he's been in some pretty cool movies.and of course, many women LOVE him.

    20. Do you believe in afterlife?---- afterlife yes - but not reincarnation.

    21. Favorite children's book?I loved James and the Giant Peach. But before I could read to my self there is a book called The Strange Story of the Frog Who Became a Prince. (A woman I dated actually found this out of print book and bought a copy for me) Another favorite is The Velveteen Rabbit.

    22. What is your favorite season?Autumn. But it is also the time of year allergy season descends upon me.

    23. What's your least favorite household chore? scrubbing toiletsor shower/tub

    24. If you could have one super power, what would it be? maybe to have stealth capability.

    25. If you have a tattoo, what is it? I had one a long time ago, and I had it removed - which is quite painful.

    26. Who was your first love and at what age? My first love? real mature love or first crush first love? first crush was my first grade teacher. first 'love' was third grade. first love was senior year in high school :)

    27. Can you juggle? yes, but not extremely well.

    28. The song you wished you had written? I have no idea. I like so many songs.

    29. Do you prefer cats or dogs? I have no preference. I like them both, as long as they are friendly.

    30. What's in the boot of your car? I drive an SUV, but I have a blanket, a first aid kit, a flash light, flares, a change of clothing, a tire, a tire tool, a gallon of water [in a freeze resistant jug]... I think that's about it?

    31. What's your favorite day? Of the week? Sunday.

    32. Favorite song to sing? - probably any older songs from the 1930s-1940s eras There are so many songs... I can't pick just one.

    33. What one word would describe you best? Perrrrrrrrrrrotheus -?- Why don't some of you email me and tell ME what word describes me best?
