Spontaneous Breakage...
"It just... broke. I dunno, all I did was wash it and dry it; when I set it on the counter, and the bottom just... broke." This was the explanation I received from Tim when he told me that he "ordered a new carafe" for my coffee maker and "it should arrive in the mail Tuesday or Wednesday." He didn't drop it or bang it; it just broke. I am not sure how that happened, but I suppose it is possible that the glass possibly developed a fault or a weak spot; I did buy it about six years ago.I do not know what I am going to do for coffee in the meantime, aside from having to get up and actually go to (pick your favorite coffee haus and insert the name here) every morning. Sadly, I like a cup coffee before actually getting dressed, and then take one to go in an insulated travel mug when I leave for work. Planning ahead to deal with the LINE of people, or even risking the possibility of not so fresh or tasty coffee will mean leaving the house ten or fifteen minutes earlier than usual. As if leaving at 5:30 a.m. isn't bad enough already, being that I am not now, nor have I ever been a morning person. Will I permit Tim to live? Yes. I will not kill him. He did spend the money to replace the thing, even though it PROBABLY would have broken the next time I used it anyway... (but don't tell him I admitted that)

A Different Kind of Bucket List
I have received the "chain" email for making my Bucket List at least four times in the last two months. While I enjoyed the movie, I am not terminally ill. At the risk of sounding arrogant, I do not need to make a bucket list yet. Having said this, here is my version of a BUCKET LIST; a list of uses for the bucket I store in my garage:That is all I can really come up with right now. If you have other (or better) uses for a bucket, please feel free to chime in.
