I am at my tired-est the moment I wake up.
Help Me... I can't sleep. I go to bed, fall asleep... wake up.I can't sleep--or, I can't get BACK to sleep-- for a few hours. It is very frustrating. Around 3:00 a.m., just when am finally falling into that sleep-zone, (the one most of you probably find somewhere in the first two hours of sleep) the alarm clock comes to life (just under two hours later), and I am obligated to roll my tired body out of bed and stumble to the shower. Most mornings, I wake with a sinus headache. This usually evaporates by the time I step out of the shower. Then I struggle through an entire day of work, with a klazomaniac. The Wordalizer has been updated! Among the new words are: "fluorescent", "ass-hat", "giblet-head", "ipseity", "rampallion", "eccentricate", "klazomaniac"(this last one courtesy of david p brown).

All Clear ? Resume Normalcy
I have resolved the line-spacing issue my text was having (CSS). If things look very wrong, please send a screen capture so I can see what is going on.The headaches have persisted, although now they are at a very low level that I can tolerate without much interruption. My blood pressure has stabilized at a satisfactory number.
As far as those other personal issues I mentioned earlier:
Ah ghetto axe peri ant zuk olin ask opie yind is ember.
...getting old is hell. If i was a car, I'd go trade myself in.

Half a day of Pain and a Vicodin Chaser

November 13 had seemed pretty much like any other Tuesday; I went in to work, tackled the stack of paperwork that had accumulated over the recent holiday weekend, and set out for a day of work. Everything seemed fairly normal, including the mild headache that was lurking at the back of my head... Lurking and biding its time. I managed to work the entire shift without a major headache event, and I went home when it was over.
Once home, I visited a friend for an hour, returned home, worked out, and made dinner. Then, like most other evenings, once I verified that all homework and chores were done, I sent my kid to bed and settled in front of TV for a while. I went to bed around eleven, and as far as I can tell I was sleeping soundly and peacefully. I was dreaming -- but cannot remember what about.
The pain hit around four in the morning, and it came with a blast of bright white light (visible only to me, behind my closed lids). The entire right side of my head, from behind my eye all the way back to my right shoulder was flooded with intense pain. I took two Tylenol, pessimistic about the results it would achieve, and then I took my blood pressure (141/93) so that when I talk to my doctor I can tell her that yes, my blood pressure was indeed elevated when I suffered a migraine headache. I waited forty minutes, and the Tylenol [did absolutely nothing]. I suffered for the next hour and a half, then called work to tell them I was not going to be there (pissing off my boss in the process). Apparently, he challenges the existence of a thing called a migraine headache. While I like to claim that I would never wish one on anybody, I kind of hope he gets to experience (just one).
The pain stayed with me all day (although it was less intense than it was at four a.m.). Around three p.m., Emily (of my blog roll) informed me that my site was having issues with Internet Explorer. I attempted to fix it, but began to experience brain-crushing pain in my right frontal lobe. I decided the site can be screwed up until I can think without PAIN.
At around six p.m., I gave in and finally took something (a variety of a certain prescribed narcotic). Thirty minutes later... the pain was gone. I slept 6 hours last night.

Looks ODD, doesn't it?
Something terrible happened to the structure of my site. I spent some time trying to fix it, but since I have a headache, I wasn't doing very well and had very little patience.I will fix it later. It may not happen until the weekend-but once I feel better I'll see if I can fix it.
updated 2 hours later...
IE seems to be the problem child -- since this site looks good in all of the other browsers. I am not sure why.
(get yourself a copy of mozilla - its FREE.)
Here is a post about IE 7 - its most recent update and swf objects. The reason my site is having issues might have to do with IE 7, its most recent update and the fact that it does not like SWF files.
Corrupt Flash Player after IE 7 upgrade
My headache has subsided, at least most of it has, and I will personify it here for you once I find the words to do so.

I can't get the spacing to behave, other than setting the CSS tags to having a < li > tag, which makes a bullet point (next to the date of the first post). IF you feel like being helpful (to me specifically), and you know CSS -- see if you can figure out where I went wrong: (http://www.perotheus.com/styles-2005.css)

Que Paso?
Some of the movies I've seen recently (because I cannot remember them all)Grindhouse: Death Proof | Memento | Hostel | The Messengers | Deja Vu | Zodiac | Pulse | The Machinist | Ghost Rider | Hannibal Rising | The Good Shepherd | Charlotte's Web | Death of a President Flags of Our Fathers | The Departed | Troy
(some of these I've watched for the first time, others are movies I watched 'again'.) In addition to these, I spent most of the month on the sofa watching just about every Horror movie that was aired during the month of October. :)
On Television, I've been watching:
Dexter, Pushing Daisies, Seinfeld, Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, Everyday Italian, and I've caught 2 partial episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Thanks to the writers' strike, I can check out some of the shows that are re-runs on other networks that I missed the first time around because I was watching something else.
Aside from that...
There are more developments, but I have to type them and edit them before they are published. That will come very soon (perhaps over the upcoming weekend).
